Are Court Records Public in Parker County?

Parker County Family Court Records

The Family Law Division of the Parker County District Court adjudicates divorces, suits affecting the parent-child relationship (SAPCR), child custody and support disputes, protective orders, adoptions, terminations of parental rights, name changes, and paternity cases. E-filing Requirement

Texas Supreme Court order mandates electronic filing in civil, family, and probate cases filed by attorneys. Parker County has required e-filing since January 1, 2015. The County Clerk works in coordination with the Texas Department of State Health Services / Vital Statistics Unit in Austin. Those born outside of Texas must contact their state of birth for certificate requests. A maximum of ten birth certificates may be ordered per person per lifetime.

Parker County Probate Court Records

Probate matters in Parker County — including probate of wills, guardianships, mental competency hearings, and estate administration — are heard in the Constitutional County Court presided over by the County Judge.
