To request copies of District Court records by mail, download the Copy Request Form and mail it with payment to the District Clerk at P.O. Box 909, Belton, TX 76513. Civil copy requests can also be emailed to dc.copyrequest@bellcounty.texas.gov. Are Court Records Public in Bell County?
Texas law broadly supports public access to government records. Under the Texas Public Information Act (Texas Government Code, Chapter 552), every person has the right to access complete information about the affairs of government at all times, unless a specific exemption applies. Court records from Bell County's courts are generally considered public information.

Bell County Criminal Court Records

Bell County Civil Court Records
Civil litigation in Bell County is divided among the District Courts, County Courts at Law, and Justice of the Peace Courts based on the amount in controversy and case type.
